24/7 Summer Camp

Information & Registration

The 24/7 Summer Math and Sports/Basketball camp is geared towards the wholistic development of young players ranging from the Kindergarten to the 9th grade. Our teachers are experienced Ontario Certified educators. Our coaches are certified and experienced with a passion for the game and a desire to grow the sport of basketball here in the Durham Region.

Classes are grouped according to their age range; primary campers in kindergarten to grade 2 are in class together, and junior campers in grades 3 to 5 are in class together. The mornings consist of in class activities which vary from day to day.

The afternoon, for the primary campers, includes participation in a variety of sports and games (soccer, basketball, capture the flag, etc..).

The afternoons, for the junior campers, focuses on basketball game play and skill development.

The day is broken in 1/2 with a lunch break midday after the in class portion.

Campers up to Grade 6, will go bowling (Ajax Bowling Center) in the morning, and swimming (Ajax Community Center) after lunch.

Summer Camp Summary

Time: 8:30am to 3:30pm (Early drop off @ 8am, late pick up @ 4:30pm - $50)
Cost: Math/Sports = $360 / Basketball Camp = $300 / Train with Pro Stef Smith = $375
Early bird cost: Save $50 if they register before April 30th

Stef Smith Bio

(July 14/15)

Stefan “Stef” Smith, born June 27th, 1999, is a professional basketball player that currently plays point guard/shooting guard in Betclic Elite, France’s top division. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Moved to Ajax and grew up there, playing basketball, soccer, football, and volleyball. He attended Eagle Ridge Public School. Attended Bill Crothers Secondary School in Markham, Ontario. Became the school’s all-time leader in points and assists. He was also given male athlete of the year as a junior and senior. Valedictorian of his graduating class in 2017, Stef accepted an athletic scholarship to go to the University of Vermont. After four years at the University of Vermont, Stef used his last year of eligibility to be a graduate student at St. John’s University of New York City. Stef was able to get his master’s degree in sports management, complementing his exercise science degree from the University of Vermont. Stef has played three seasons in the CEBL. In his second season with the Calgary Surge, he was able to help lead the team to championship weekend and eventually the finals. Stef currently plays in France’s first division after having played in Serbia and France’s second division last year.
